Is Sucker Damaged Goods?

Sucker, is not damaged goods in any way, shape or form. He is putting on a show for Pete, trying to let him see that he is not the wimpy boy he once was. He wants to show Pete that he does belong somewhere, which would now be the gang. Pete, however, holds the belief that Sucker is damaged goods, because he lost control over him. But now, Pete is not the boss, the role model, or even a friend of Sucker, in part because of the young boy's transformation.
