Book Blog Q1: The Mysterious Benedict Society & the Prisoner's Dilemma

Cover ImageThe Mysterious Benedict & the Prisoner's Dilemma by Trenton Lee Stewart is about a group of kids named Reynie, Kate, Sticky, and Constance. They go on their third journey away from their family when their hometown has a blackout. They must decipher clues to figure out a new plot of bad/evil forces. This time, they go even closer to danger.

In this book, I would say the two best things were character development and the successful completion of never getting bored. Considering that this is the third book in the series, it makes sense that the character development is great! But even as an individual book, the character development was quite good. The book also never got old or boring, it was hard to put down.

At some points in the book it seems to ramble on. There was random blabbering at points that just didn't make much sense. But at some points, in my opinion, the blabbering that wasn't so random was great.

You would like this book if you like adventure. It doesn't matter if you are a boy or a girl, but you would like it more under the age of fifteen. Also, you will like it if you are okay with a story being unrealistic.
