This book, Sent, by Margaret Peterson Haddix, is about a boy named Jonah, his sister Katherine, his friend Chip, and another boy named Alex. They have recently discovered that Jonah, Chip, and Alex are famous children from the past. They soon discover that Chip is King of England and Alex is really his younger brother, the Duke of York. Will they get back to the future, when history says that they are supposed to be murdered? Read the book to find out.One really great thing about this book is how all the pieces come together. You really don't know whats going to happen next and afer it has happened you find out a little later on. This really kept me going. Also, the sequence of events not staying in sequence was pretty well done.
One not-so-great thing about the book was in fact one of the things I said was good. That, being how all of the pieces come together. Sometimes I couldn't understand something and I would find out later on. That actually made things a bit confusing at points.
If you like fiction and are no older than 15 you will like this book; whether you are a boy or a girl. If you don't mind having it skip around a little bit then you will like this book. If you have the ability to stay mentally organized through a bit of confusion.
