Comic Books: What They are & What I Think of Them

Comic books are a visual interpretation of text that still leave dialogue in its regular form of words. They can be the same as regular novels, but, chances are, a different message will come across. I personally do not have a liking, or an experience with comic books, but I do know that they still have the same, productive demeanor. They are oftentimes viewed as material aimed towards a younger age group. Although comic books do not involve the same amount of text to read, if you are reading one thoroughly, they still use your brain the same amount, if not more. But, only if the pictures within the comic book actually have some sort of significant meaning. However, in my opinion, a comic book is only a true comic book if everything has significance, text and visuals alike.
